Takara Sake USA Inc., is a leading manufacturer of Saké in the United States with offices in Los Angeles, Honolulu, and New York. The main products produced in Berkeley are the "Shu Chiku Bai" brands of Saké (Regular, Extra-dry, Sierra Cold Saké, Ginjo and Nigori). "Takara Mirin" (cooking wine), and Takara, Kinsen, and Koshu brands of plum wines. In addition to these brands, Takara Saké USA, Inc. imports from the parent company in Japan the following products; Baisho Zukuri saké, Dai Ginjo saké and Takara Jun Shochu and Yokaichi (distilled spirit).

With over 140 distributors selling products in the United States, Canada and Europe, Takara Saké USA Inc. has used its foothold in Berkeley, California to establish itself as the leading Saké manufacturer in the United States.

As teh Saké market continues to grow in the United States, Takara Sake USA, Inc. has completed a plant expansion in November 1997 thereby increasing production capacity by 210,000 gallons. Takara Saké USA, Inc. has further committed to U.S. market by renovating its Tasting Room and by constructing the first Saké Museum in the United States.
